Everything people ask us before their first session. If yours isn't here, message us and we'll answer straight.
No. Not the sessions, not the gear, not the trips, not the food. There's no membership and nothing to cancel. If someone tells you otherwise, that isn't us.
No. Everything gets scaled to whoever showed up that day. Plenty of people come having never trained before, and nobody in the room cares how much you can lift.
That's most people on their first day. Someone is assigned to you before you arrive, so you're not standing at the edge trying to figure out where to put yourself.
Yes, always. Bring your brother, your cousin, whoever. Just tell us how many of you are coming so there's enough food.
Whatever you can move in and a water bottle. If you don't have shoes that work for it, say so when you sign up and we'll sort it out before you get there.
No. You can train, eat, and leave without saying much at all. Some guys talk after a few months, some never do, and both are fine.
If you're under 18 we need a parent or guardian to sign a waiver, which is a safety thing and standard everywhere. Past that, they don't need to come with you.
Then you come the next week. There's no strike system, no attendance policy, and nobody is going to make you feel bad about it.
Coaches and mentors who are background checked and trained before they work with anyone. If an adult here ever makes you uncomfortable, tell any of us and we'll act on it.
Come anyway, and tell a coach as much or as little as you want. We're not a treatment program, but we know the people in Seattle who are, and we'll help you get to them.
We're a Washington nonprofit working toward formal tax-exempt status. We'll update donors as soon as that's confirmed, and you get a receipt for every gift either way.
Into gear, league fees, mentor training, outdoor trips, and food. See what we track.
Start on the contact page. Mentors go through a background check and training before being matched with anyone.
