Who this is for

Maybe school is a lot right now. Maybe home is. Maybe you just want to get stronger and be around people who get it. All of that counts. You don't need a reason to show up.

Show up. Train. Stick around after.

About an hour of real training, scaled to whatever shape you're in. Then food, and time with the guys you just trained with. If it's your first time, someone is looking out for you before you walk in, so you're not standing on the edge of the group wondering what to do.

What we actually do

Ten programs, all free. Here are the six most people start with.

Weekly

Train with a mentor

You get paired with one adult who trains with you every week and actually listens when you answer. Same person every time, not a rotation of strangers.

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions people ask before their first session. If yours isn't here, message us and we'll answer straight.

Does it cost anything?

No. Not the sessions, not the gear, not the trips, not the food. There's no membership and nothing to cancel. If someone tells you otherwise, that isn't us.

Do I need to be in shape already?

No. Everything gets scaled to whoever showed up that day. Plenty of people come having never trained before, and nobody in the room cares how much you can lift.

What if I don't know anyone there?

That's most people on their first day. Someone is assigned to you before you arrive, so you're not standing at the edge trying to figure out where to put yourself.

Do my parents have to be involved?

If you're under 18 we need a parent or guardian to sign a waiver, which is standard everywhere. Past that, they don't need to come with you.

Who are the adults?

Coaches and mentors who are background checked and trained before they work with anyone. If an adult here ever makes you uncomfortable, tell any of us and we'll act on it.

Who runs it

The people you'll actually meet

Three of us started this in Seattle. You'll see us at sessions, not just on a website.

JK

Jan Konrad

Founder & Executive Director

Runs the day to day and shows up to most sessions. Start with him if you have a question nobody else can answer.

JN

James Nam

Co-Founder

Handles the field days and tournaments, which means he is the reason there's always food at the end.

EN

Erik Nielsen

Co-Founder

Looks after mentor training and safety, including the background checks every adult goes through before they meet anyone.
